About The Position

Great Lakes Petroleum is hiring a Boom Truck Operator to deliver tanks to company-owned sites and customers. The operator is responsible for completing assigned duties efficiently and operating the vehicle in accordance with company policy. The role includes loading and unloading tanks, following applicable safety regulations, maintaining the truck and related equipment, and completing required paperwork.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Submit to quarterly random drug screens as required by FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanks in accordance with company and governmental regulations.
• Safely operate trucks according to company policies and state and federal laws.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and/or facilities.
• Perform daily service checks, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
• Complete and transmit paperwork in accordance with established company protocols.
