BOOM TRUCK OPERATOR - Austell, GA
About The Position
Great Lakes Petroleum is a provider of fuel delivery and fuel management services. The Boom Truck Operator operates a boom truck to deliver tanks to company-owned sites and customers and is responsible for completing assigned duties efficiently and operating the vehicle in accordance with company policy. The role includes loading and unloading tanks, safely operating the truck, inspecting and maintaining the vehicle and equipment, and completing required paperwork. The position is based in Austell, Georgia. Weekend work may be required if necessary. Compensation is competitive and based on experience and geographic location. The company offers a full benefits package and quarterly safety bonuses for eligible employees after 120 days of employment.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean MVR.
- Required Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
- Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
- Subject to quarterly random drug screens under FMCSA/DOT regulations.
- Excellent customer service demeanor.
- Must be available to work weekends if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload tanks in accordance with company and government regulations.
- Safely operate trucks according to company policies and state and federal laws.
- Keep vehicles clean and perform safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and facilities.
- Check oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items daily.
- Complete and transmit paperwork in compliance with company protocols.
