About The Position

Great Lakes Petroleum is hiring a Boom Truck Operator to deliver tanks to company-owned sites and customers. The driver is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of the vehicle in accordance with company policy. This role involves loading and unloading tanks, operating and maintaining the truck and related equipment, and completing required paperwork while following company, state, federal, DOT, and FMCSA requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Submit to quarterly random drug screens as required by FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Demonstrate an excellent customer service demeanor.
• Be available to work weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanks in accordance with company and governmental regulations.
• Safely operate trucks in accordance with company policies and state and federal laws.
• Keep vehicles clean and conduct safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and/or facilities.
• Perform daily service checks, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
• Complete and transmit paperwork in accordance with established company protocols.
