About The Position

The dental industry is a $40B global market — and most of it still runs its processes the way it ran them a decade ago. EviSmart is transforming the dental industry by streamlining workflows, enhancing diagnostic accuracy, and improving patient care through advanced digital technology. As EviSmart scales across its Vancouver and Manila hubs, the volume of day-to-day accounting grows with it, and the books have to stay exact. We're hiring a Vancouver-based Bookkeeper to keep that transactional backbone accurate: payables, receivables, reconciliations, and sales tax — done right the first time.

Requirements

• 99% data-entry accuracy, automatic or manual.
• The judgement to recognize when something is wrong and know what to do about it.
• A can-do mentality.
• Hands-on capability across the core bookkeeping cycle: QuickBooks AP/AR entries, bank and credit card reconciliation, and sales tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable entries in QuickBooks — accurate and current.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Sales tax filing.
• The integrity of your journal entries — you chase down the information each one needs rather than waiting for it to arrive.
• First line of sight on anomalies — you notice when spending or an entry looks off, and act on it.
