About The Position

Lift Business Resources is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to provide bookkeeping support for nonprofit and corporate clients. The role involves managing multiple client accounts independently and delivering accurate, timely, and professional support. The position is remote and open to residents of Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or North Carolina. It is part-time, with hours varying based on client needs, and pays $28–$35 per hour based on experience. Paid time off is offered. Requirements

Professional bookkeeping experience in both nonprofit and corporate environments.
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, including fund accounting and grant tracking.
Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification.
Experience supporting multiple clients in an outsourced bookkeeping environment.
Experience with bookkeeping cleanup and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for nonprofit and corporate clients.
Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
Support budgeting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
Communicate directly with clients and coordinate with accounting professionals as needed.
