Established by Black and Latina activists in 1984, the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) is NYC’s only culturally specific organization with a mission to address domestic and sexual violence within Latine communities. We provide intensive support and services to 3,500+ survivors and children every year and reach 10,000+ community members through community events and preventive education workshops. We are dedicated to developing innovative programs that meet the complex needs of our diverse community and that align with our organizational values. The Bookkeeper will execute daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording daily income and expense transactions and prepare the books to be reconciled. The Bookkeeper will also assist the Comptroller with preparing and submitting reports. The Bookkeeper will also help prepare for grant-specific and program-wide audits.
