About The Position

Insight Medical Imaging is seeking a Bone Density Supervisor to join their dynamic and expanding team. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of the Meadowlark clinic. Insight Medical Imaging is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services with over 650 employees and 20 locations, providing services in Edmonton and surrounding regions, as well as in Fort McMurray. Requirements

  • MRT(R)/CLXT designation in good standing with ACMDTT or ACCLXT
  • Demonstrated experience and competence in performing all required examination procedures
  • Completion of Bone Mineral Densitometry Course will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2-3 years bone density experience preferred
  • Previous leadership experience is an asset
  • Expertise in Bone Densitometry procedures
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to implement process improvements and support staff development
  • Proficiency with imaging software and scheduling systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety

Responsibilities

  • Performing X-ray/Bone Density procedures while providing leadership support
  • Leading training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching of staff
  • Ensuring staff certifications and clinical competencies are maintained
  • Overseeing quality assurance, accreditation standards, and precision testing (LSC)
  • Collaborating with radiologists on protocols, workflows, and technical standards
  • Improving workflow efficiency, scheduling, and patient flow
  • Supporting staffing coordination and operational needs
  • Addressing performance concerns and contribute to staff evaluations
  • Coordinating equipment maintenance and service issues
  • Providing back up coverage for scheduling as needed, ensuring all clinics are staffed appropriately to meet operational needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with departmental and diagnostic imaging standards
