The Radiologic Technologist/Bone Density position involves performing a variety of patient care duties to produce diagnostic imaging through the operation of radiographic equipment, utilizing proper technique. The role explains safety protocols, exams, and procedures to patients, and operates fluoroscopic, portable, diagnostic, and other equipment as required. This role works as an independent contributor and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with additional duties as assigned. The technologist will be assigned to one designated radiography area (Inpatient, Outpatient, or Emergency Room), but may be asked to cover alternate locations or MGB sites (with appropriate training) should coverage needs arise to ensure a seamless and exemplary patient care experience.
