  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP; not required.
  • Experience with product lifecycle or engineering systems such as Autodesk Vault Fusion Manage preferred; not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and maintain accurate multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all products and sub-assemblies in accordance with established data governance standards and defined product structures.
  • Ensure proper structure and alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales BOMs.
  • Ensure all BOM structures adhere to approved standards, templates, and naming conventions.
  • Update BOMs to reflect engineering changes, product modifications, and process improvements.
  • Maintain item master data related to materials, components, and product structures.
  • Develop and maintain Routings (RTGs) including work centers, labor standards, machine times, and production sequences in alignment with defined operational and data governance standards.
  • Ensure routings accurately reflect real-world manufacturing processes and constraints.
  • Update routings based on process improvements and engineering changes.
  • Ensure all BOM and routing data is accurately entered and maintained within core business systems.
  • Support data validation, auditing, and reconciliation efforts.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity across all systems and platforms.
  • Support alignment between Engineering BOMs managed in Autodesk Vault Fusion Manage and Manufacturing/Sales BOMs managed in SAP.
  • Ensure accurate translation of design data into production-ready and customer-facing structures.
  • Ensure all system updates and data structures align with approved governance models before deployment into SAP.
  • Participate in system transformation initiatives to improve data flow and consistency across platforms.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Sales to understand product requirements and manufacturing constraints.
  • Collaborate with planners, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment between BOMs and routings.
  • Communicate changes and updates effectively across stakeholders.
  • Analyze BOM and routing structures to identify inefficiencies, errors, or opportunities for optimization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product structure and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to improve routing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support standard costing processes by maintaining accurate material, labor, and overhead inputs.
  • Ensure BOMs and routings support accurate cost rollups and financial reporting.
  • Escalate unclear, conflicting, or undefined BOM and routing requirements to the appropriate data governance or engineering authority.
  • Do not create or modify structural standards without alignment to approved governance frameworks.
  • Support resolution of data definition or structure conflicts through established governance processes.
