About The Position

The purpose of the Client Director at Bolster is to build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients in the US market, and drive business growth through outstanding service and media campaign delivery. The major responsibilities of the position include client account management – serving as the primary point of contact for US clients and overseeing the seamless delivery of their work; business development – proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow Bolster's presence and revenue in the US; and media campaign expertise – serving as the client’s main source of expertise with regards to digital performance and consumer marketing, and providing strategic guidance and support to the Campaign Manager and broader media team to ensure campaigns achieve and exceed client KPIs. The ideal candidate is a strategic media thinker with a proven track record in effectively planning and managing campaigns and clients across paid digital and traditional media channels, plus someone who excels in business development, and leadership—capable of balancing hands-on execution with big-picture growth strategies. Requirements

  • Experience within the entertainment / culture / music / events / media / advertising industries
  • Proven history of managing and building rapport with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Broad understanding of the ad tech and martech landscape, with working knowledge of Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, DV360, TikTok Ads, Broadsign, Vistar, Google Campaign Manager 360, GA4, Google Tag Manager and proficiency with analytics tools such as Rubii, Whatagraph, Supermetrics, Data Studio, Excel / Google Sheets
  • Understanding of digital / social / content marketing, able to advise clients on best practice
  • Competence to navigate difficult conversations and get things back on course
  • Growth mindset – ability to identify opportunities that add value to clients and drive revenue
  • Commercially minded with strong financial acumen and budget management skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated nature – you don't wait to be told what to do or how to do it
  • Ability to communicate technical information succinctly and articulately, without ambiguity
  • Superior time management and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail

  • 7+ years background in a fast-paced digital / marketing / media / advertising environment
  • Business-level fluency in both English and Spanish is a must-have for this role — Bolster US works across exciting entertainment properties and projects across North and South America, as such you'll need to communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders in both languages, in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our US clients, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional client service experience at every touchpoint – especially onboarding (G’day LA!)
  • Develop super-succinct brief documents with urgency, in close collaboration with clients
  • Scope briefs and create quotes in collaboration with the Campaign Manager and Media team, in line with defined pass-through margin requirements
  • Manage client communications end to end, in particular, lead WIP meetings / check-ins and keep project tools (i.e. Monday.com, Hubspot) up to date at all times
  • Address scope-creep and any service issues identified throughout the project with the client
  • Survey performance (relative to campaign and project KPIs) and ensure reporting is thoughtful and considered – insight-led with clear next steps
  • Conduct project retros with the team to ensure we set and meet our agency and client standards
  • Implement new (and continually improve existing) sales tools (e.g. case studies, proposals)
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue monitoring and reporting
  • Represent our agency at industry events, client meetings and agency functions
  • Meet with prospective clients and partners to build deep and meaningful relationships
  • Uphold strong working relationships across the Campaign Manager, Media team and broader agency
  • Proactively conduct local market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, cultural insights and growth opportunities
  • Build meaningful relationships with prospective clients and partners, particularly within the arts / entertainment / culture industries, to identify opportunities for collaboration and growth
  • Win new work through prospecting, outreach and networking on the ground
  • Support the Head of Media and CEO with sales pitches and strategies for the US market, providing advice on platform selection, channel planning and past performance
  • Contribute to the development and continual improvement of sales tools (e.g. case studies, proposals, pitch decks)
  • Provide strategic oversight of US media campaigns in collaboration with the Campaign Manager, ensuring delivery against client KPIs and expectations
  • Support the Campaign Manager with campaign planning, channel strategy and performance reviews where needed
  • Collaborate with the Head of Media and Media Director to stay across new technology platforms, products and services relevant to US clients
  • Provide ad-hoc campaign management support during peak capacity periods as needed
  • Maintain Hubspot (sales CRM) and Monday.com (project management) tools
  • Establish and maintain connections with relevant industry groups, events and the local community to cultivate a strong professional network and talent pipeline
  • Work closely with the Group GM - Operations to assure alignment between the LA outpost with our agency’s culture, values and ways of working
