About The Position

Provide planned and emergency services to Watertube, Firetube and auxiliary support equipment. Perform and lead the welding of code and non-code items/structures. Function as the lead on core welding projects, for ASME code and standard welds. Ability, aptitude and desire to learn complex boiler mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, as well as some combustion tuning & controls. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to pass an ASME certified 6G test
• Basic mechanical and pipefitting skills
• Ability to stay overnight for complex projects and work weekends and after-hours for emergency situations
• Safe daily driving and infrequent out of town travel will be necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Boilermaker experience is strongly preferred
