About The Position

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is seeking an Industrial Boiler Technician to provide maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation services for boiler and burner systems for commercial and industrial customers. In this role, you will act as a technical expert, consulting with customers on identified issues and recommending solutions to ensure their systems operate safely and efficiently. You will collaborate with SSP Account Executives, the Service Coordination team, and Foreperson to meet customer expectations and ensure project success. As part of the Industrial Group, you will join a skilled team focused on delivering exceptional service and supporting business growth. This is a union position, requiring current membership or eligibility to join the applicable Local Union.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with boiler systems, including high- and low-pressure steam boilers, hot water systems, and various boiler types (fire-tube, water-tube, condensing).
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver 50+ pounds.
  • Current union membership or willingness and ability to join the Local Union.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Washington and Oregon as needed.
  • Washington and/or Oregon boiler licensing, or the ability to obtain the required licenses.
  • Washington and/or Oregon low-voltage licensing, or the ability to obtain the required licenses.
