About The Position

Operate and maintain the boiler plant for a medical campus. This role involves observing and dispatching maintenance engineers for building automation system alarms related to HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment. The Boiler Operator will also assist the chief in duties concerning HW boilers across the campus. The position may require responding to emergency repair requests and carrying out additional delegated responsibilities.

Requirements

• 2 years of classroom training or 2 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.
• Class 1B boiler operator with the state of MN.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chief in duties regarding HW boilers around campus.
