About The Position
Signature Truck Systems is looking for an experienced Bodywork Prep/Painter to join our Houghton Lake team. This is a first shift, full time position. Pay is $20-22 per hour. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in truck, tank/vessel, or heavy equipment preparation and painting required
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment, including respirator
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential; employees are expected to report to work on time and maintain consistent attendance in support of team operations and production schedules
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana
Responsibilities
- Inspect areas to be painted, identifying body repair needs, surface defects, and prep requirements
- Sand, mask, blend, polish, and touch up finishes to specification
- Follow customer-specific direction for color selection and application
- Must wear a respirator; position requires passing a confidential medical questionnaire and respiratory fit test
- Ability to work overtime as business needs require
