About The Position
M&K Truck Centers is expanding and seeking skilled Heavy Truck Body Technicians to join our team. This role focuses on body, structural, and collision repairs for heavy-duty trucks and vocational vehicles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with heavy trucks or commercial vehicles; strong knowledge of body repair techniques and welding.
- Proficient with tools, repair orders, and basic computer skills; valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with aluminum and steel repairs and familiarity with insurance and warranty repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform collision repair and maintenance services, including cab, sheet metal, and fiberglass repairs.
- Repair or replace panels, doors, bumpers, and frames; diagnose and repair various truck systems.
- Prepare surfaces for painting and align body components to OEM specifications.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and compliance standards; maintain an organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and assist with parts sourcing as needed.
