About The Position

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Frame Technician to perform truck frame restoration and related repairs. The ideal candidate has a background in body restoration, painting, and fiberglass work, and is committed to safety, quality, and customer service. Compensation is $35 or more per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with a production bonus.

Requirements

• Two to five years of body shop technician experience preferred.
• Welding experience.
• Proficiency using a wide range of tools and equipment for truck assessment and repair.
• Excellent manual dexterity, including the ability to work on small parts and in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must pass a post-offer drug screening, physical examination including a lift test, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of body shop technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform frame restorations on trucks involved in collisions.
• Conduct fiberglass repairs and other specialized tasks when required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns.
• Assess damage and determine appropriate repair methods using critical thinking.
