About The Position

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking an experienced Body Shop Frame Technician to perform truck frame restoration and related repairs. The ideal candidate has a background in body restoration, painting, fiberglass work, and welding, and is committed to safety, quality, and customer service. The role involves assessing collision damage, selecting appropriate repair methods, and maintaining tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

The position pays $35 or more per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with a production bonus. The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and successful completion of post-offer drug screening, a physical examination including a lift test, and a background check.

Requirements

• Experience as a body shop technician; 2–5 years is preferred.
• Welding experience.
• Proficiency with a wide range of tools and equipment for truck assessment and repair.
• Manual dexterity to work on small parts and in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must pass a post-offer drug screening, physical examination including a lift test, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of body shop technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
