About The Position

An autonomous vehicle company is hiring a Body Shop Service Technician to help maintain and repair its electric vehicle fleet. This is a hands-on role where you’ll handle maintenance, light repairs, and body work to keep vehicles safe and road-ready.

Requirements

• Experience with automotive repair and body work
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to identify cosmetic vs. structural damage
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electric or autonomous vehicles
• Experience with sanding, priming, or paint touch-ups
• Welding or advanced body repair experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document vehicle damage
• Perform minor repairs and coordinate major repairs
• Complete routine maintenance (brakes, tires, fluids, etc.)
• Monitor vehicle condition and report issues early
• Support towing and emergency vehicle handling
• Move vehicles for service, repairs, and cleaning
• Keep the shop and fleet clean and organized
• Perform body work (panel alignment, bumper repair, cosmetic fixes)
