Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Able to safely lift, move, and position heavy vehicle parts.
• Own basic hand tools; additional specialty tools welcome.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Nice To Haves

• 1-4 years of automotive body shop or collision repair experience preferred.
• I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus; candidates with strong practical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and perform quality repairs to body panels, structural elements, and vehicle frames, following manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Replace damaged body parts—including bumpers, fenders, hoods, and trim—and align, weld, or attach new components as needed.
• Prep surfaces, sand, mask, and apply paint coatings using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform fiberglass, aluminum, and light mechanical repairs within expertise.
• Document repair work and maintain open communication with managers and team members regarding timelines, supplies, and repair progress.
• Operate all shop tools and equipment safely; follow safety procedures and uphold high housekeeping standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current with repair techniques and industry regulations.
