Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience and desire to work with technology to drive an exceptional customer experience.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers and determining the nature of their visit.
  • Answering incoming phone calls.
  • Assisting callers or individuals or taking a thorough message.
  • Communicating with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Communicating messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Typing memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Assisting service customers during the morning and evening service rush whenever possible.
  • Assisting with clerical duties as requested.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Assisting in documentation of supplemental repairs as needed.
  • Documenting incoming vehicles.
  • Processing repair orders.
  • Maintaining organized records.
  • Communication with technicians and service advisors.
  • Handling inventory management, such as tracking parts and supplies needed for repairs.
  • Basic administrative duties, including filing paperwork and responding to emails.
  • Scheduling appointments for vehicle repairs.
