About The Position
Winner Premier Collision Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Body Shop Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, enthusiasm for work and a positive attitude. This role involves assisting in various shop tasks, including, trash removal, vehicle check-in, shop cleaning, and running errands. The Shop Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks within the shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Transport trash to our dumpster and recycling bin daily. Trash consists of broken auto parts, new part packaging materials, paint shop masking materials, and general shop trash cans.
- Assist with vehicle check-in procedures.
- Sweep the shop floors and general shop upkeep.
- Assist technicians with basic disassembly and repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials as necessary to support shop operations.
