Executive Auto Group is seeking a Body Shop Manager to join their growing team. Requirements

Five years of experience in a Collision Repair Facility
Must have valid Connecticut Appraiser's License
Two years of supervisory experience
Excellent communication, supervisory and managerial skills
Working knowledge of body repair methods
Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines
Proficient knowledge of dealership's computer systems
Must have valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record, and safe driving habits to drive both customer vehicles and a demonstrator vehicle
Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity

Responsibilities

Direct and schedule the activities of the Body Shop
Establish and maintain good working relationships with several insurance adjusters
Train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all "Body Shop staff," ensuring personnel have a thorough understanding of their duties and responsibilities
Present self as a role model by demonstrating leadership and commitment to the customer, dealership, and manufacturer
Take the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles
Manage Technician productivity
Prioritize work to ensure that deadlines are met
Effective vehicle production and inventory control
Understand, keep up to date with and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect Body Shop operations such as hazardous waste disposal. Right-to-Know and environmental updates
