Pat Milliken Ford is looking for an assistant manager for our new state-of-the-art 23,000+ sq. ft. collision center. This facility is designed to be the cleanest and most advanced shop in southeast Michigan. Requirements

• Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• At least 5 years of body shop management and automotive customer service experience
• A hard-working can-do attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills

Responsibilities

• Help manage Body Shop Clerk & Technician staff, assisting with scheduling, payroll, inventory & tool needs
• Ensure Technician’s workflows are going smoothly and customer needs are prioritized
• Managing technician productivity
• Document all repairs & orders properly
• Oversee vehicle washing, waxing, revitalizing processes
• Interacting with external vendors on parts inventory
• Required to maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Required to understand and keep abreast of all federal, state and local regulations that affect their operations.
• Effective vehicle production and inventory control
