About The Position

Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Assistant Manager to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment where customer service is a top priority. The company is the largest dealership group on the Eastern Shore, with a history of supporting local organizations and charities. They represent 24 dealerships, 14 collision centers, and 19 automotive brands across the Delmarva Peninsula, emphasizing a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture with high standards of integrity, accountability, and excellence.

Requirements

Prior automotive body shop estimating or insurance adjusting experience is required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Collision Center or Auto Body Shop.
Proficiency with collision management software.

Responsibilities

Greet all customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, fleet providers, and manufacturers.
Perform vehicle damage assessments and create detailed repair cost estimates.
Prepare accurate damage reports efficiently.
Assist in managing shop production costs and workflow.
Collaborate with the General Manager on daily tasks and dispatches using computerized systems.
Provide support and assistance to employees as needed.
