Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Body Prep Operator to join their MFG TEAM. This role involves unloading and loading raw materials, monitoring material flow, and performing quality control checks on the product. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.
- Good oral communications skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.
- Loads raw materials into hopper.
- Monitors flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.
- Performs various tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and documents results.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating procedures.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
