Bodily Injury Adjuster (Attorney Repped & Non-Attorney Repped)
About The Position
National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking candidates with prior claims experience, specifically in material damage claims and/or attorney-represented bodily injury claims, for multiple openings within their auto claims organization. This role involves managing complex automobile claims, conducting thorough investigations, evaluating coverage and liability, and assessing damages to ensure fair and timely outcomes. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage claims within authority limits while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Prior injury claims experience.
- Strong analytical skills.

- Ability to confidently manage claims within authority limits.
- Prior claims experience, specifically with a background in material damage claims and/or attorney-represented bodily injury claims.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations.
- Ability to evaluate coverage and liability.
- Ability to assess damages.
- Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department.
- Handles investigation regarding all aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority.
- For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims.
- Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage.
- Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.
- Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle.
- Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.).
