About The Position

As a Represented/Litigation adjuster, your main focus will be investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, which result in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involved. You will have the convenience of working remotely from your home while efficiently handling your responsibilities. You will assess coverage, liability, and damages while providing exceptional customer service throughout your day. Customer and attorney communication will take place through different channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages. Through the utilization of innovative platforms and tools, you will engage in negotiation processes to reach fair injury settlements with all parties involved. The individual selected for this role will join a team who primarily handles claims in the following states: TX, IA, NE, OR.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Bodily Injury Claim handling experience
  • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully.
  • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation.
  • A home office – a dedicated workspace in your residence that is private and free from distractions
  • A minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up
  • Appropriate work surface and seating
  • Must be in the United States.
  • Not available for California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington residents.

Nice To Haves

  • Complex or Severe Bodily Injury Claim handling
  • Prior Texas claim handling experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Gross Tort Value and Risk Analysis
  • Experience using NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center

Responsibilities

  • Investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, which result in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involved.
  • Assessing coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Providing exceptional customer service.
  • Communicating with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, and text messages.
  • Engaging in negotiation processes to reach fair injury settlements with all parties involved.
  • Performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
  • Evaluating and negotiating claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants, in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologies.
  • Executing policies along policy agreements.
  • Keeping a clear record of work in a claims system.
