About The Position

The Moderate Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster investigates automobile accidents involving one or multiple vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, including claims involving attorneys or litigation. This is a remote, home-based role in the United States, preferably in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones, but it is unavailable to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The adjuster assesses coverage, liability, and damages; communicates with customers and attorneys by phone, email, text, and sometimes video; and negotiates fair injury settlements with the parties involved. An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required as a condition of employment. If required, licensing must be completed within 60 days of hire and may involve an additional Department of Insurance background check. The company provides support for required licensing. Candidates with eligible active licenses may qualify for a $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus, subject to exclusions. The role includes a technology setup for home use (laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse) and a monthly connectivity reimbursement for eligible remote employees. A dedicated, private workspace and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload are required.
