About The Position

This position focuses on investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, which result in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involved. The role offers the convenience of working remotely from home. The adjuster will assess coverage, liability, and damages while providing exceptional customer service. Communication with customers and attorneys will occur through various channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages. The position involves utilizing innovative platforms and tools for negotiation processes to reach fair injury settlements. This role is part of the Represented Casualty office, handling Complex/Severe claims in KY, TN, and MS.

Requirements

  • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully.
  • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation.
  • A dedicated home office workspace that is private and free from distractions.
  • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up.
  • Appropriate work surface and seating.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ experience in complex bodily injury claim handling.
  • 2+ years Represented Bodily Injury claim handling.
  • Kentucky casualty claim handling experience.

  • Performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
  • Evaluating and negotiating claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
  • Utilizing multiple tools for claims evaluation and settlement.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate documentation in the claims system.
