About The Position
The Boat Seat Assembler performs production assembly work critical to the structural integrity of boats. The role assembles and installs boat components using adhesives and mechanical fasteners, and moves boats through the production line with assistance from other assemblers. The position also involves maintenance and general housekeeping.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability and skill to properly use hand tools, air tools, cordless drills, and similar tools.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities
- Build and install locks, hinges, rub rails, carpet, trim, and other boat components.
- Move boats through the production line with assistance from other assemblers.
- Perform maintenance and general housekeeping.
- Install wiring harnesses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
