About The Position

The Boat Division Personal Property Custodian III manages personal property and operational consumables assigned to the Boat Division at JEB Little Creek – Fort Story in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role processes requests and maintains records for the issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of capital assets, minor property, and operational consumables (OPCON). The custodian conducts inventories, investigates missing, lost, stolen, or damaged property, prepares reports for Command Leadership, and supports the purchase of operational parts and supplies.

The position requires a SECRET clearance and is full-time. The stated salary range is $67,000 to $78,000, with a start date of January 2027. Telum is an SDVOSB that provides training, personnel support, and management services to U.S. Government customers in the Special Operations and Intelligence communities. Requirements

• At least three years of inventory management experience within NSW.
• Maintain a forklift license for equipment up to 10,000 lb capacity.
• Meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for official duties.
• SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process requests and maintain records for the issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of capital assets, minor property, and operational consumables assigned to Boat Division.
• Conduct monthly, bi-annual, and annual inventories of gear managed in SWALIS/DPAS by NSWG-2 N4.
• Investigate missing, lost, stolen, or damaged property and process the related paperwork.
• Generate and submit weekly and monthly reports to Command Leadership.
• Obtain quotes and submit purchase requests for operational parts and supplies.
