About The Position

The Brinton Environmental Center is seeking USCG Boat Captains for the Summer 2026 season to fill various positions across multiple locations. These roles include sail boat captain, dive boat captain, fishing trip captain, and snorkeling trip captain. The position is located at the Sea Base in Summerland Key, FL.

Requirements

• USCG Captain License

Nice To Haves

• Experience in sailing, scuba diving, fishing, or snorkeling.
• Familiarity with marine conservation and coral restoration efforts.
• Experience working with youth or in a camp environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of boats including sailboats, dive boats, fishing boats, and snorkeling boats.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during all trips.
• Manage and maintain boat equipment and safety gear.
• Provide guidance and instruction to passengers as needed for specific activities (e.g., snorkeling, fishing).
• Support the operational needs of the Brinton Environmental Center and Sea Base programs.
