The Boat & ATV Sales Consultant performs various Selling / Customer Service activities to assist Boat and ATV Customers in making informed buying decisions. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The consultant engages all customers entering the department in a friendly and timely manner, meets with potential customers to determine their boating and/or ATV needs, and provides information necessary for customers to make informed buying decisions. Maintaining current product knowledge through available resources, awareness of advertised items, current pricing, and promotions is crucial. The role requires adherence to selling skills training and working cooperatively with the Service Department for seamless delivery. Maintaining complete confidentiality of sensitive and personal information is essential. Daily preparation of the showroom, including signage and product cleanliness, is required, and product integrity must be maintained throughout the day. The consultant will generate and manage leads and prospects in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, documenting follow-up activities and tasks. Participation in special events like Boat Shows and Parking Lot events is expected. Accurate completion of all necessary paperwork and meeting predetermined monthly sales goals are required. A clean and professional work area and adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures are mandatory.
