About The Position
Dane Street is seeking expert reviewers to join their dynamic team. This telework opportunity allows for schedule customization as a 1099 independent contractor. The main tasks involve evaluating medical records, providing clinical summaries, engaging in peer communications, and answering client-specific questions. The company values the expertise of its reviewers in improving patient care and delivering high-quality healthcare assessments. A key aspect of this role is that no doctor/patient relationship is established, and no treatment is provided; these are advisory-only opinions. Dane Street offers a streamlined case flow, a user-friendly work portal, and handles all communication, record organization, administrative processes, case preparation, and ensures quality and timely delivery of determinations/reports. They provide initial and ongoing training and support.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology
- Current, unrestricted DC Medical License
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience
- Attends all required orientation and training
- Maintains proper credentialing, state licenses, and any certifications or requirements necessary to perform the job
