About The Position

Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, with both in-clinic and in-home services. We service clients with behavior, cognitive, developmental needs from 18 months into adulthood. We offer caring ABA therapy centered around the client’s voice and experience. About the Role: As a Candidate you will plan, develop and monitor effective treatment using evidence-based treatment methods. You will collaborate with team members, services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate and provides ongoing training and direct supervision to RBTs. Your work will directly change the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to sit for the BCBA exam within the next 3 months
  • Have completed a minimum of 1500+ hours
  • Must be physically able to perform direct and supervision sessions
  • Must be able to administer variety of assessments and write treatment plans
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card
  • Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance card, CPR & First Aid certification
  • 1+ years of supervised fieldwork completed
  • Must hold a valid drivers’ license and maintain proper current insurance
  • Must have completed MA in ABA or related field (psychology or education) with verified course sequence

Responsibilities

  • Conducts ABA program management for adults and children with autism spectrum disorders
  • Provides direct client services, including initial assessments
  • Supervises RBTs and conducts training and coaching
  • Collaborate with client’s treatment team and families to improve communicative, social, and behavioral outcomes for all clients, including Behavior Technicians, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and schools
  • Facilitate parent training and support families to access community resources
