Cortica’s Board-Certified Behavior Analysts use a strength-based, holistic, and neurodiversity-affirming approach to clinical programming for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The BCBA oversees clinical programming for patients receiving ABA treatment and leads behavior technicians, supporting them in providing meaningful care to children and families. The role is part of a transdisciplinary team and emphasizes collaboration with families, caregivers, and clinicians to develop individualized care plans and provide integrated care. The position averages 26 billable hours per week, with reduced targets during shorter weeks. Productivity targets decrease to 22 hours at BCBA levels III and IV. The BCBA has autonomy over when and where cases are supervised, with a hybrid arrangement that allows remote flexibility for clinical and administrative work. Telehealth is used when the BCBA determines it is clinically effective for the client and behavior technician. Administrative teams support scheduling, billing, and credentialing. Cortica offers advancement through BCBA levels I through IV.
