About The Position

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Veritas Prep, you will provide behavior analysis services to students with special needs in grades 5-8 as part of the student success team. You will work collaboratively with school staff and families to develop and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct functional assessments, and provide behavior support and consultation.

• Experience providing behavior analysis services to students with special needs

• Current authorization to work in the United States - a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied behavior analysis assessments and functional behavior assessments to determine appropriate behavior interventions
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the analysis of student behavior data
• Provide direct behavior analysis services to students, including behavior instruction and support
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement behavior support plans in the classroom setting
• Train and support school staff and families in the implementation of behavior intervention plans
• Collect and analyze data on student behavior and the effectiveness of behavior interventions
• Participate in team meetings to review student progress and determine appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
• Stay current on best practices in behavior analysis through ongoing professional development
