About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide behavioral consultation, develop effective intervention strategies, and support educators in creating positive learning environments where students can succeed. This role is for the 2026-2027 school year in the Lawndale and Hawthorne, CA area. The position involves conducting student and classroom observations to assess behavioral needs, developing and implementing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and providing consultation and training to educational teams on behavior management practices. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is key to supporting students' behavioral, social-emotional, and educational success.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification
  • Experience conducting behavioral assessments, developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams

Responsibilities

  • Conduct student and classroom observations to assess behavioral needs and inform effective intervention strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to promote positive student outcomes.
  • Provide consultation, coaching, and training to teachers, support staff, and educational teams on evidence-based behavior management practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' behavioral, social-emotional, and educational success.
