Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • BCBA certification
  • CPR certification (Post-hire)
  • Valley de-escalation certification (Post-hire)
  • Driving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a current driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Conducts functional assessments of challenging behaviors and designs comprehensive treatment and behavior intervention plans to meet individual and family needs.
  • Trains and provides clinical supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians and other direct support staff to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and treatment implementation.
  • Performs functional assessments for assigned clients
  • Designs, implements, and evaluates behavioral support and intervention plans
  • Supports caregivers of clients with strategies for behavior support to maximize individual and familial functioning
  • Teaches and models behavior support techniques to caregivers and direct care staff
  • Provides clinical supervision, training, and competency assessments to Registered Behavior Technicians and assigned clinical staff
  • Follows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care
  • Collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatment
  • Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations
  • Meets direct care expectations
  • Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements
