Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
About The Position
Woodfords Family Services is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their team. This 40-hour per week position is based in Manchester, Maine, providing clinical services to children in Pre-K through 5th grade within a special purpose school. The BCBA will offer behavioral and clinical consultation to children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a school-based setting. The role emphasizes person-centered care, thoughtful intervention, and partnership, with no commercial billing requirements, allowing more focus on effective intervention and relationship building.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Human Development or a related field.
- Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis or ability to obtain required.
- Experience developing, implementing and monitoring behavior analytic programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience working in a variety of settings with individuals with severe interfering behaviors
- Valid driver's license and reliable use of a safe, insured motor vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Conducting evaluations, assessments, and behavioral observations
- Collecting and analyzing data to guide thoughtful, individualized programming
- Developing and overseeing behavior support plans and interventions
- Training and collaborating with staff and caregivers to build confidence, consistency, and shared success
