Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
- Must display strong interpersonal, planning, forecasting, analytical skills and maturity required to work in the hospital environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt to constant change and a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Current CPR and CPI certification (or obtained within 30 days upon hire).
- Experience working with individuals with dual diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and handle a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of behavioral assessment and behavioral treatment protocols under guidance of Director of Clinical Services and psychiatrist.
- Participates collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to work on concerns or barriers to the patients functioning, needs, and discharge plan
- Perform formal behavioral analysis procedures for selected target behaviors
- Coordinate behavioral assessment and treatment protocols for all patients
- Model and teach behavioral plans to Staff/Families/Caregivers/Outpatient Teams
- Provide required supervision to registered behavior technicians (RBTs)
- Prepare and maintain data collection sheets, other clinical data forms, graphing, and data analysis for patients
- Timely documentation of service provided.
- Facilitate family/caregiver training program including scheduling sessions, training families/caregivers, and facilitating effective training of family/caregivers by others
