About The Position

The 2027 BNY Analyst Program - Office of the CFO - Finance & Strategy is a 24-month rotational program designed to provide early-career professionals with comprehensive experience in strategic financial operations within a leading global financial institution. Analysts will gain firsthand experience in high-performing finance teams responsible for financial integrity, sustainable growth, and operational excellence. The program involves working on initiatives impacting strategic planning, revenue generation, cost management, and financial planning. Analysts will assist with financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet analysis, market and competitor analysis, capital management, and strategic planning, developing a deep understanding of how a large financial institution operates. The program emphasizes a collaborative and innovative culture, offering structured onboarding, meaningful project work, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Requirements

  • Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

  • Support teams that help maintain BNY’s financial integrity, support sustainable growth, and drive operational excellence across the firm.
  • Assist with work related to financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
  • Conduct data analysis and help interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.
  • Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies.
