About The Position

The Automotive Blueprinter prepares accurate and comprehensive estimates for vehicle repairs. The role assesses vehicle damage, determines necessary repairs, and calculates labor and material costs in collaboration with technicians and other team members. The Blueprinter documents estimates precisely and maintains a high standard of organization and accuracy throughout the repair process. The position also supports workflow coordination and quality assurance to promote efficiency and customer satisfaction within the repair facility.

The work environment includes desktop computing in an office and/or remote workspace. The role requires extended use of standard computer equipment and communication tools, and may require lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds. Requirements

• Experience writing estimates for an auto body shop or insurance company is required.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and parts.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to sit and use typical desktop computing equipment for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to operate a typical desktop workstation.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, if required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CCC estimating software.
