About The Position
The Automotive Blueprinter prepares accurate and comprehensive estimates for vehicle repairs by assessing vehicle damage, determining necessary repairs, and calculating labor and material costs in collaboration with technicians and other team members. The role ensures estimates are precisely documented and supports workflow coordination, quality assurance, repair-facility efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The position is performed in an office environment and/or remote workspace environment, using typical desktop computing equipment. It may require sitting and using workstation equipment for extended periods, communicating verbally and in writing through tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack, and lifting or carrying up to 15 pounds if required. Requirements
- Experience writing estimates for an auto body shop or insurance company is required.
- Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and parts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and team-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CCC estimating software.
