Blueprinter
About The Position
The Automotive Blueprinter prepares accurate, comprehensive estimates for vehicle repairs by assessing vehicle damage, determining necessary repairs, and calculating labor and material costs in collaboration with technicians and other team members. The role requires precise documentation and strong organization throughout the repair process. The Blueprinter also supports workflow coordination and quality assurance to help maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction within the repair facility. The work may take place in an office environment and/or a remote workspace using typical desktop computing equipment.
Requirements
- Experience writing estimates for an auto body shop or insurance company.
- Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and parts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to sit and use desktop workstation equipment for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate a desktop workstation.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, if required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CCC estimating software.
