About The Position

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. The role requires setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery. Team members will learn Tyson SAP software to create work orders and complete daily documentation. The position also involves using math for machinery computations and fluid capacities, and clear communication with management and team members regarding equipment repair status.

Requirements

A minimum of 1-year Industrial related maintenance experience and/or technical certifications.
Working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools.
Ability to read and write where required.
Ability to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Ability to lift 70 lbs. with assistance on a daily basis.
Ability to work on your feet for 12 hours.
Ability to communicate clearly with Upper Management and team members via phone, in person, and in writing regarding the status of equipment repairs.
Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
Must be willing to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
