Requirements

Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
Strong communication skills and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of plastic extrusion experience
Basic computer knowledge
Previous manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

Responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to the following tasks: Shut-down, start-up, switchovers, order preparation, production, and routine maintenance.
Effectively analyze process control charts to monitor and/or correct production related problems.
Recognizing and troubleshooting visual defects in the film being produced.
Conducting and documenting routine inspections on a variety of production related components.
Utilizing sound judgment in reducing and eliminating production of scrap material.
Working cooperatively with Material Handlers to efficiently manage production process
Maintain a clean work environment
Perform all duties following standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
