About The Position

The Blood Product Inventory Technician processes and consigns blood and blood components in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position works Friday through Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $15.00 or based on education and/or experience, with shift differential and bonuses of $500 after six months and $1,000 after one year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Driving record with zero points and no moving or traffic violations in the past three years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work well with people.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and push 50–100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Irradiate and label blood and blood components.
• Assist with daily inventory rotations.
• Prepare and distribute blood and blood components for shipment as appropriate.
• Deliver products to customers as needed.
• Perform visual inspections of all shipments and returned products.
• Perform some component manufacturing duties when needed.
