About The Position

The Blood Product Inventory Technician processes and consigns blood and blood components. The role includes preparing, distributing, and delivering blood products, assisting with inventory rotations, and performing visual inspections of shipments and returned products. Some component manufacturing duties may also be required.

The position is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and works Friday through Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $15.00 or based on education and/or experience, with a shift differential. The posting also offers a $500 bonus after six months and a $1,000 bonus after one year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Driving record with zero points and no moving or traffic violations in the past three years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work well with people.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and push 50–100 pounds.

• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Irradiate and label blood and blood components.
• Assist with daily inventory rotations.
• Prepare and distribute blood and blood components for shipment as appropriate.
• Deliver products to customers as needed.
• Perform visual inspections of all shipments and returned products.
• Perform some component manufacturing duties when needed.
