Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- Four (4) years’ experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.
- Must have MT/MLS Certification (ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)) or be eligible for certification.
- Must submit to a color-acuity screening test.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree in science.
- Certified as a technical specialist (ASCP).
- Two years of Supervisory and/or management experience in a clinical laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Supervise laboratory operations.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with regulations.
- Perform laboratory testing as needed.
- Train and mentor laboratory staff.
- Manage laboratory resources and inventory.
